Developing Courage, Capacity & Community.
ONE STEP AT A TIME
Store Hours
The OSAAT FARM Vision is to build a community of people who come together to be the village that families and youth need.
As adults we have become so focused on working and paying bills that we don’t have the time to teach our kids things that could really help them like how to change a tire, patch drywall or making small repairs.
We want to create an environment where that can occur, not only for our children and others but for our entire community. We feel it’s important to give it a shot, make mistakes, learn lessons and try, try again. And in doing so, we hope to divert items from waste to a new life, give people some pride in doing their own work and save some money.
Learning life skills isn’t as natural as it used to be.
Our big beautiful smiley-face barn holds a shop for our guests to purchase special hand-picked items. You will find a collection of antiques, reusable & repurposed items, as well as it will showcase products hand-made by folks in the community we serve.
The Store
Supporting those needing extra considerations.
One Step at a Time.
A farm girl meets a handy-man, they build a family of diverse and beautiful humans. We have a passion for advocating for rights and services of people and youth who are falling through the cracks.
OSAAT Farm was born when we found a space that would provide, not only our own children and foster children a place to learn and grow, but others in our community as well. Our goal is to create community, capacity and courage in every soul that steps through these gates, one step at a time, through a variety of exciting, unique, and fun ways!
About Us
We live in a disposable time, where landfills are growing, and wallets are emptying. We provide an opportunity for people to purchase repurposed items and architectural salvage, and learn how to fix and create with them!
Not everyone had someone to teach them skills like re-wiring a lamp, repairing drywall, refinishing furniture and more - that's where we come in. Coming soon, we will be holding workshops and life skills classes by our very own resident handy-man, Rob.
Want to learn something specific, or have an idea for a class? Contact us anytime!
Reclamation Station
Offering cutting and shop services. We also want to welcome folks to bring their projects in! They can ask for direction from the Master Handy Man, Rob, to learn how to fix or build almost anything.
We will also be offering project nights, where community members can join us for a shared work environment, in creating beautiful and fun pieces!
Rob's Carpenter Shop
The ultimate handy man, Rob really can do it all! You'll also find him in Bud's sewing room, doing upholstery and sewing projects for the store, as well as for clients.
